Webinar: Intellectual Property Rights - old or new frontiers?

-

Online

The capabilities of the latest generative AI technologies raise challenging questions about the nature and scope of authorship, with direct consequences for human artistry and artistic research. These questions focus on the nature and extent of human contribution, how human agency is available under existing copyright principles, and whether existing laws are sufficient to address raising concerns in the artistic and cultural sector.

The webinar concerns artists, researchers and professionals from the creative and cultural sector, empowering them with the fundamental knowledge and state-of-the-art discussions on copyrightability. It is also intended to raise awareness among potential policymakers across different national contexts of the work developed within the Action.
